Who is PROBUS? We are a volunteer-based, non-profit, non-political, non-sectarian fellowship organization with over 4,000 clubs worldwide, 244 being Canadian clubs made up of over 36,500 members.
Our clubs are all about encouraging healthy minds and bodies and socializing with other retirees in the community.
Are you a retired professional or businessman who wishes to belong to a club that meets to hear informative speakers and participate in other social events? Becoming a Probus member exposes you on a monthly basis to a wide range of informative speakers. In addition, you will have the opportunity to join other Probus members in social events.
Why join the Probus Club of Brentwood Bay?
The Brentwood Bay club is a mens club of about 80 members. At monthly meetings, members enjoy fellowship, engaging speakers, and, through the club, group activities such as field trips, special interest groups (technology, walking groups, reading groups, for example). Most special interest groups also include member's partners. After each meeting, several members retire to a local pub restaurant to further extend their Probus day. We welcome new members and we strive consistently to learn and to have fun.
